The Eden Protocol

Description

This book does not argue. It reveals a pattern.

Across living systems and constructed systems, a distinction emerges. What carries itself continues without intervention. What cannot be sustained in this way must be maintained, extended, and defended.

From this divergence, a direction forms. Extraction replaces relationship. Force replaces compatibility. Conflict becomes continuous. Distance separates action from consequence. Sacrifice becomes necessary.

The system expands, but it does not resolve.

As this movement continues, what must be carried grows until it can no longer be sustained without limit. What once appeared stable begins to reveal the effort required to maintain it. What was delayed becomes immediate. What was distributed begins to converge.

This is not collapse. It is exposure.

What carries itself remains. What must be sustained cannot continue in the same way.

The Eden Protocol is not introduced as an alternative. It is recognised as the condition that does not require what has been added.
