Summertime Affair

Description

David Hughes is about to become a summer bachelor. His wife and children have departed for the cool mountains, leaving him alone in the sweltering city for eight weeks. For the first time in his nine-year marriage, he has both the motive and the opportunity to stray. And across the hall lives Janice Keller, a beautiful young blonde whose husband is stationed three thousand miles away.

As the summer heat intensifies, so does David’s obsession. He tells himself he is owed this, that his wife’s growing coldness has driven him to it. But the line between a casual fling and a genuine emotional entanglement blurs quickly. What begins as a calculated act of rebellion against a stale marriage becomes a dangerous game of passion, guilt, and self-discovery that threatens to consume him entirely.
