Nieve is a knight busy making a name for herself. Fighting to forget a troubled past, she owes the Guild everything for taking her in. When she’s invited to join Ariadnne’s company, Nieve questions whether she wants to work with who is supposed to be the most difficult individual in the Guild. She soon realises Ariadnne is not what she’d been led to believe.
