Every car has its secrets… but this particular car has a very special one.
Hidden inside its wing mirrors lives a family of adventurous spiders. There’s Webster, a brave and curious dad who is always looking for his next adventure; Tess, his sensible wife; Prius, their adventurous daughter; Rav, their mischievous son; and Grandad Morris and Granny Fi, who have lived in the wing mirrors for longer than anyone can remember.
Then there’s Sam, the young boy who discovers Webster. Although they cannot speak to each other, they soon develop their own special language of waves, nods, smiles and enthusiastic spider gestures.
When Sam’s family sets off for the seaside, Webster sees his chance for an adventure. Inspired by the cobwebs streaming in the breeze, he decides to try something completely bonkers — web surfing!
But when a sudden gust of wind sends Webster swinging away from the car, his exciting adventure quickly becomes a rescue mission. With his family pulling together and Sam cheering him on, can Webster make it safely back to the wing mirror?
