Description

A collection of ten of Jesus’ parables from the Bible, retold for young readers.  It includes The Sower, The Mustard Seed, The Hidden Treasure, A Strong Foundation, The Good Samaritan, The Lost Sheep, The Prodigal Son, The Unforgiving Servant, The Pharisee and the Tax Collector, and The Workers in the Vineyard.  The stories use examples from everyday life at the time to explore what the Kingdom of God is like and teach about God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and generosity.  Colourful illustrations accompany the retellings.
