Centuries ago, the Grendel Corporation purchased an entire world and dropped actors and tourists into a mock-up of 9th Century Daneland. Financial hardships forced them to abandon the project, and not a single starship was sent to recover the participants. The Commonwealth forgot them, and they forgot who they were.
Now, one man must find an assassin who killed the Emperor and went into hiding. When he learns the heirs to the throne are alive, everything gets more complicated. He must blend with the locals, though his enemies won’t play by the same rules. Shield walls and honor are no match for shock troopers in powered armor.
