A key message that comes through time and again is how the importance of human connection makes all the difference.
While some of the subject matter is at times challenging, the nature of the stories on this voyage is throughout engaging and uplifting.
The book offers a glimpse into one patient’s story, and the stalwart efforts of the NHS, in the time of the pandemic.
