Description

Deluge imagines the bizarre, comical and melancholic moments that could happen during the aftermath of a great storm. Within these Poussinesque, idyllic, pastoral settings, we discover newly paired and confused inhabitants: a lion roaming a now unfamiliar land; a sperm whale hanging from a tree, waiting for his weight to break the branch; a horse struggling to free itself from an inflated pufferfish and a baby elephant, pushing a beached whale back to the water.
