Robin Jenkinson spent much of his life in buses, under buses, driving buses, repairing them, painting them and chasing them for photographs. This compilation of autobiographical anecdotes, illustrated with some of his own extensive collection of photographs, recounts his many bus-related adventures and misadventures as a driver, inspector and coach painter. Included is a detailed history of the unusual half-decker with which Robin was smitten at an early age, beginning a lifelong love affair with buses in general and the half-decker in particular. It recounts the story of his long-term relationship with JVB 908 which he lovingly restored.
