This catalogue describes the collection piece by piece, with the attributions and provenances of its day.Collection catalogues of this kind are often the only surviving record of objects long since dispersed, and are read today as documents of collecting history.This is a faithful print-on-demand facsimile of the 1874 edition, reproduced in full from a library copy.
