Description
Patience Amherst is an ambitious young artist. When she gets the chance to travel to London, to study with the great portrait painter Sir Hilary Marlow, she seizes the opportunity. Yet, little does Patience realise that Sir Hilary is not merely interested in her talents, and there is a sinister plot afoot, one which will embroil Patience in the secrets of the Marlow family and which will, ultimately, end in murder. Can Patience manoeuvre through the dangerous situation in which she finds herself, fulfill her artistic ambitions, and reconcile with her childhood sweetheart, the aspiring barrister, Vernon Ramsey?
