The City of Chronowick, 1895

Harton Evermore, a professor and inventor in the second most affluent of Chronowick’s five districts, works in secret on a machine that could turn back time with his father, Mathias Evermore, a man broken by grief. But when a mysterious woman from a lower district steals his research, intending to use it to overthrow the city’s tyrannical president, Harton is forced into an uneasy alliance, combining his expertise and her street smarts to find a solution that will give them both what they want.

However, the duo’s mission quickly becomes far more dangerous than either of them bargained for, and their actions could very well change the past, present and future of Chronowick in ways neither of them expected.
