Description

Jake Reynold’s job was to rebuild the world. Harper Crowe’s mission was to escape it. Now they both find themselves battling the ocean and those they meet along the way as they embark on their quest to cross half the world. A damaged ship, savage storms, and limited supplies forced them to land on the most remote inhabited island in the world, where everyone they meet is not exactly a friend. Now, with their boat patched back together and their spirits renewed, they set out again into the open ocean, heading east for New Zealand.

But Mother Nature has different plans. Jake finds himself in the roaring forties, a place where the wind circles the globe with nothing in its way to stop it. With no escape from nature’s wrath, no one to call for help, or anywhere to hide, Jake and Harper must use every skill and ounce of strength they have to survive.
