The Brilliant Support Activities series contains photocopiable activities for use with slower learners or pupils with learning difficulties at Key Stage 2. The books introduce one concept per sheet, using simple language and clear, black line illustrations making them easy to read and understand. Word Level Work – Phonics contains 42 photocopiable sheets addressing learning objectives set out in the Primary Literacy strategy. the sheets provide additional practice and reinforcement and are ideal for those children who are still struggling to learn concepts and skills first introduced at Key Stage 1. The worksheets cover phonological awareness and phonics: initial sounds, rhyming words, initial consonant clusters, onset and rime and final sounds.
