How far would you go to bring your loved ones back from the dead?
It’s been years since the disease killed Alina, and David is still struggling to come to terms with her passing. When he receives a letter from her telling him where he can find her, he has no reason to believe it’s her. He knows it’s a long shot, but it’s the only thing he has left, so he sets out to look for her.
The journey takes David to an impossible, rundown world of death and decay through which he traverses in search of Alina. The more he progresses, the more dangerous his journey becomes when he realizes he’s not alone. Something is tirelessly following him, and it’s going to do everything in its power to prevent him from reaching the Final Threshold.
David doesn’t plan on letting that stop him, but as he will soon discover, the cost of seeing Alina again may be higher than he ever imagined.
