Description
The Four Noble Truths form the foundation of Buddhist teachings. They are: the truth of suffering (Dukkha), the cause of suffering (Samudaya), the cessation of suffering (Nirodha), and the path leading to the cessation of suffering (Magga). These truths outline the nature of suffering and provide a practical guide to its end. The Eightfold Path, which includes right understanding, right intent, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration, is the Buddha’s prescription for achieving liberation.
