Description
When fireman Reuben Morales answers the rapping on his door on Halloween, it’s not a final trick-or-treater that meets him, but a harbinger of death. Now he must lead the church Christmas pageant while dealing with the tragic death of his dear sister Vera.
Haunted by why God would let Vera die without faith, when death outside of Christ means only one thing, Reuben must maneuver through the holidays while facing the internal and external fires in his life.
The answer to his questions may lie in the very pageant he is leading, and the remedy in the identity of the Ice Cream Arsonist plaguing their town. Will Reuben make it that far? Is his faith strong enough to pull him through this inferno? Or will the backdraft destroy his life?
