Description
Though this work is inevitably dated, it contains a great deal of useful material. The author traces the nature and extent of the headship of the husband and father in the family, together with the roles of others within the family, showing throughout the centrality of love which tempers everything. A second part looks at the connection between the family and the church.
Benjamin Palmer was an American Presbyterian minister and theologian. He was influential in the reorganisation of the Presbyterian Church in the USA and wrote a number of books, including The Life and Letters of James Henley Thornwell.
