Talk to the Trees

Description

In her debut poetry chapbook Talk to the Trees Sirpa Walton explores
the sacred bond between trees and human beings,
with the forest and its steadfast inhabitants acting as guides
toward love, truth and the healing homes within us.

‘We, the ‘tailles primates’ tend not to heed our inner voices,
the truths they carry, but in this collection I have imagined
how these godlike beings, the trees among us, could lead us
to our inner homes, our true loves within us,
and perhaps even to romantic love.’
