Description
Howard Fielding was the primary pseudonym used by the American author and humorist Charles Witherle Hooke (1861-1929). Hooke also wrote earlier speculative fiction (like the 1889 short story ‘The Automatic Bridget’) and had a few of his stories adapted into early silent films, such as The Inspirations of Harry Larrabee (1917).
