£20.00

This book is essentially the personal recollection by the author Frank Ward of the history of a campaign that was organized and orchestrated to oppose an injustice and preserve the right and freedom of religious worship and practice at the Holy Shrine within Bhaktivedanta Manor, Vaishnava Hindu Temple for devotees of the religion in the United Kingdom. The perpetrators of this injustice and blatant breach of human rights were Conservative controlled Hertsmere Borough Council assisted by the passive collusion of the central government of the then Prime Minister, Margret Thatcher MP and subsequently that of Prime Minister, John Major MP. Meanwhile, the requests Frank received to render assistance to the Roman Catholic Church, Church of England, and the local Jewish community to which he responded, engendered hostility and resentment among some members of Hertsmere Constituency Labour Party who were primarily against all religions and warned him of the repercussions and effectively he was kicked out the Labour Party. Many years later he bounced back into politics by becoming the chair of Hertsmere UKIP and found himself in the trenches once again. However, on this occasion he was not opposing the   Conservatives but the Labour Party. In the words of Sir Francis Beacon, 17th century Philosopher: ‘’Revenge is a wild kind of justice’’ therefore, read on.
