Description
My Life, My Death, My Wishes is essentially a guidebook.
It is not a “how to manual” but a comprehensive overview of all things, dying, death
and legacy. It is written in a friendly, conversational way helping you discover all the
choices you have available to you, and what the pros and cons might be.
It will demystify death and dying and debunk myths.
It will direct you to templates, websites, documents and one to one support to help
you through all the processes of finding what you need, choosing what you want,
and confirming what you don’t want. It will encourage and enable you to converse
with your people about your choices and understand the impact of them on those left
behind.
It includes some prompts, with space to gather you own thoughts and information
alongside some inspiring quotes, poems (and the odd bit of black humour) to help
you think outside the coffin (I mean box!). It will help you make choices both you and
those mourning you are happy with and help them step into their unwanted journey
through grief. Those first steps help lay the foundation for learning to walk alongside
grief and accept it as a partner in life.
Through a combination of practical planning direction and care and legacy thinking
this book will leave you feeling good, relieved, prepared and understood.
We are celebrating your life and enabling ourselves to be seen and heard. We are
supporting those we love (our people) as we prepare for our final chapters.
