Sherry McKee was married to a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran for 43 years. Together, they spent a lot of time traveling and visiting military museums, often finding them in out of the way places. After she lost her husband, Gary, Sherry decided to gather information on museums in her area, hoping that other people might find her research helpful. The project expanded to a nationwide search across all branches of service, and quickly evolved into this comprehensive guide book.
