Sometimes it’s hard to silence the part of your brain that wants to be the center of attention and then listen to the parts of you that need more of your own attention. Main Character Syndrome is a collection of poems chock full of the musings, reassurances, and drama from the mind of 20 year old college student. Like they are all literally ripped from a private poetry Instagram account I made, it doesn’t get more Gen Z than this. But I also don’t believe that it makes my feelings any less valid, no matter how anyone reacts to them. Idk man we all got to make something eventually, I can only hope that people can find it relatable.
