Description
Alexander Stewart (1870-1937) was a respected minister in the Free Church of Scotland. He originally wrote the Introduction to this work for the Princeton Theological Review in 1928. Whilst not a formal commentary, Stewart homes in on the key themes of the prophecy, and in 22 readable chapters applies their message with real warmth.
The evangelical nature of much of Jeremiah’s prophecy is brought out throughout, with searching application made to unbelievers as well as Christians.
