Description
After a violent and unexpected departure from Tristan, Jake and Harper enter the next phase of their journey. With Cordelia repaired and fully stocked, they are as ready as they can be for the challenging journey across the southern Indian Ocean to Australia and beyond. With both the sea and the wind in their favor, they are eager to get started. Those plans come to a sudden end.
A chance meeting with one of the ocean’s largest creatures sends Cordelia to the bottom. Jake and Harper’s world has been reduced to a few square feet of life raft, and there are still 2,000 miles to go. They will have to tap into every corner of his ingenuity and her seamanship if they hope to survive. With no help to be had from the post-plague world, they are very much on their own.
