Description
53 year old accountant Jim Bennett’s midlife crisis was resolved when he volunteered to work for three months for a small charity in Uganda. This led to 26 years of volunteering for that charity and others in six African countries. His involvement with the very poor, with other development workers and with the new African middle class opened his eyes to a very different view of the world and how it runs .
Jim tells his story with humility, humour and humanity.
