Emilio Ramon Coni was among the founders of public hygiene in Argentina, and this early work examines anaesthetic leprosy — the nerve form of the disease — as it presented in the River Plate: its signs, its course, and the measures a young state might take against it.This is a faithful print-on-demand facsimile of the 1878 Buenos Aires edition, reproduced in full from a library copy.
