Mozart composed this offertory to the Virgin Mary in the summer or fall of 1777, not long before his departure on a concert tour to Paris – and the resignation his position at the Salzburg Cathedral. The vocal score offered here is a newly engraved, researched edition by Richard W. Sargeant, Jr. in a very convenient size specially designed for choruses.
