Description
This is the life story of a young man born in the 1920s. It covers his early youth in Shropshire until, following in his Royal Marine father’s footsteps, he joined the Royal Navy. It follows his experiences during the war years. The remainder of the story deals with life in the Mediterranean, Far East and West Africa where his family joined him when possible.
