Learning to forage for food, drink, and medicine is just one of the skills people are learning but there comes a point where further study becomes difficult, even inaccessible because of unfamiliar scientific terminology and concepts.
Short of studying for a botany degree and having to learn lots of information you don’t need as a forager, the only option was to try to piece all of this information together as and when you need it. That’s why I wrote this book. Having studied botany to try to make sense of this, I’ve discovered the parts that we do need, and the parts that we do not, and I’ve brought all the good bits together in this handy guide.
