Peter Harbour

I have been a professional photographer since 1989. I also attended the University of Bolton, where I gained a degree in lens-based media and a postgraduate diploma in documentary photography.I did research on historical photographic methods, panoramic photography, and imagery of the First World War. This inspired my interest in the Great War and the veterans who lived through it.I began to search for surviving veterans in September 2004, and had met Henry Allingham just two months later. By September 2005, I had met my eighth veteran, Harold Lawton.Peter Harbour
