Oliver Züger
Oliver Züger is an airline captain, educator, researcher, and author whose work focuses on human flourishing, resilience, personal stability, and psychology.
Over the past decade, he has combined insights from aviation, psychology, leadership, and life experience to explore what helps people navigate challenges, adapt to change, and build meaningful lives. His research has led to the development of the Personal Stability Index (PSI), a framework designed to better understand the factors that contribute to long-term well-being and personal effectiveness.
As a professional pilot with thousands of flight hours across multiple continents, Oliver has spent much of his career making decisions in complex, high-pressure environments. These experiences, combined with his academic work, have shaped his practical and evidence-based approach to human behaviour and personal development.
Through his books, courses, and research projects, Oliver aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and everyday life, providing readers with tools and perspectives that can be applied in the real world.
He is the author of Happiness 101: The Study Atlas of Human Flourishing and several works on personal stability, resilience, and psychological well-being.
