A thoughtful rhyming picture l book about a boy who felt that he was different and didn’t fit in and how he was helped to find friends and for friends to find him. One magical day and night the stars put on an exhibition to show people that each star shines in it’s own unique way and that they can too. Not all differences and disabilities are obvious and this book can help to teach children the importance of treating others kindly. It might encourage children who feel alone and not understood to reach out to a trusted adult when things aren’t going so well for them. Perhaps to find a way to connect and belong. We all shine differently.
