The players are introduced to the protagonists and will take on the roles of characters who:

The game is divided into three acts:
Act One: The Arrival. The characters arrive in Devil’s Hollow and learn about the Satanic Panic. They decide to investigate the rumors and infiltrate Shadowbrook High as new students.

Act Two: The Investigation. The characters explore the town and discover clues about the missing teenagers, the occult symbols, and the haunted arcade. They also encounter the occult gathering and have to decide whether to join them or expose them.
Act Three: The Confrontation. The characters find the entrance to the Satanic Temple and enter it. They face various dangers and puzzles and finally confront the one behind the panic.
