Description
Embroidery: Thread, Surface and the Shape of a Stitch presents sixty full-colour pages of textile-inspired artwork. Small swatches, leafy branches, curled petals, beaded circles and open grids reveal a palette of linen, indigo, rust, sage and muted gold. Whole motifs alternate with close views of threads, edges and fabric, followed by quiet arrangements of swatches and tools. Selected brief notes draw attention to visible forms, colours and textures.
