Description

The sea remembers what people forget. In Môrlan, it’s been remembering for thirty years.

Cate Morgan took the harbourmaster job in a town she’s never visited to answer a question her mother refuses to: what happened in Môrlan that made her run, and why won’t she speak of it? But from the moment Cate arrives, something pushes back. Time slips. Memories fray. And the place her mother couldn’t bear to name feels like it’s been waiting for her.

Within days, she’s drawn into a circle of witches who practise a magic she recognises in her bones, older and stranger than anything she taught herself: a baker who reads the truth beneath words, a forensic pathologist who speaks with the dead, a blacksmith who forges protection into iron, and a powerful witch with an Otherworld hound. They don’t know her mother. But someone in Môrlan does. Someone who’s been burying secrets for decades. Someone who isn’t finished.

The closer Cate gets to the truth, the more she becomes a target. Because whatever silenced her mother thirty years ago has noticed that another Morgan is asking questions.

Stormbound is an atmospheric paranormal mystery rooted in Welsh folklore, set on the wild Pembrokeshire coast. Perfect for fans of T.J. Green’s close-knit covens who crave the lush, landscape-driven magic of Alice Hoffman’s prequels, and anyone who’s ever wanted to move to a harbour town and start over.
