Description
After centuries of solitude, the wizard Jiva leaves his mountain refuge with one question: has the human heart grown kinder? Disguised as a ragged beggar, he walks among the people of a village ruled by a proud and merciless landowner.
For three days Jiva labours on the estate without food or rest. When he asks for his just reward, he is beaten and cast out, but not before speaking a prophecy that will turn fate upside down.
A poor peasant family shows the stranger kindness and receives a mysterious healing crystal in return. Soon a deadly illness, a desperate bargain and a miracle set the wheel of fortune spinning. The rich will be humbled, the humble raised up, and a hardened heart is driven to the edge of ruin, where the only way left is transformation.
Just Reward is a timeless fable about karma, compassion and the hidden laws that restore balance to every life. Based on a short story by Jurgen Ziewe, bestselling author of Elysium Illuminated, and illustrated with cinematic artwork from his film of the same name. Presented in English and German.
