Description
Ruth Archer travelled to Papua as a nurse and midwife in the 1960’s. Living in a remote area, far from hospitals and several hours by sea from the nearest medical help, Ruth ran a small bush hospital, providing a cradle to grave medical service. This is the true account of her first 2 and a half years there, with nothing but her faith and the goodwill of those who worked with her to sustain her in the most difficult and dangerous situations.
