Children rarely want to talk about their feelings on demand. They will, however, quite happily colour something in.

The Little Signals Activity Book uses that. Across its pages children draw, colour, circle and scribble their way towards noticing what happens in a body when it is excited, cross, tired or worried. There are no right answers and nothing is marked.

The activities are deliberately low-pressure and short, designed for a child to do alone at a kitchen table or alongside a grown-up who joins in. Some are calming. Some are messy on purpose. All of them build the same underlying skill: recognising a signal early, while it is still small.
