Description

Anna has her entire life mapped out in front of her …

She has a steady job and a boyfriend everyone agrees is perfect for her. As a bonus, her widowed mother lives just around the corner, so Anna can help out each day.

When an incident at work upends her life, she has to find herself a new job in order to preserve this perfect set up. So, why is she hesitating? If her life is as wonderful as everyone says, why would she consider an unexpected opportunity to escape to New Zealand?

Surprised to find herself on the opposite side of the world without quite intending it, Anna decides to take a year to reassess her life, away from everything that has kept her trapped for so long. Free of her overbearing boyfriend and intrigued by the carefree Ethan and his zest for life, she’s soon making decisions of which her mother would definitely not approve.

But even half a world away may not be far enough. And is a year really long enough for Anna to make sense of her past so she can take control of her future?

A feel-good story of sunshine, a special guesthouse, and the power of making your own choices.
