With his tower secured and the future looking bright, Magnus is ready to kick back and take some time off, or at least explore the Crimson Flame Legacy in peace.

Unfortunately, life has other plans.

Though he managed to secure victory in the Tower War against Starlit Clay Tower, Magnus’ problems are only just starting to pile up and every time he turns around, it seems a new one is added to the list.

Magnus managed to firmly establish himself as ruler of Crimson Flame City and investments from the major mage organizations are starting to roll in but it will take all of his cleverness to avoid getting fleeced by the cagey mages who smell the chance for profit.

To complicate everything further, when the mine that Magnus won turns out to be a lot more than just a mine, Magnus realizes that he is going to have to grow stronger a lot faster if he wants to keep both his tower and his head.

But first he’ll have to survive the interview with his future mother-in-law.
