Description

Claire has one goal in life: to become a renowned physicist. She joined the Air Force, fast-tracked her way to a PhD, and landed a leadership position at Rosebud Research Facility.

Alone at work one night, a maddening buzz drives Claire to find the source. The trail ends on a subterranean level of the facility, and what’s waiting behind a glowing door sends her fleeing in terror.

The facility dismisses Claire’s allegations and fires her; the military forces her into early retirement. With a ruined reputation, Claire moves to a small college town in Oregon to salvage her career.

But even a thousand miles away, Claire cannot escape her past, nor can she ignore the entity that followed her.
