When all life’s expectations had seemed to lay in a futile heap at her feet, Essee turned to an old, long ago discarded, mode of self expression for relief – the written word. Unlike when she’d been so fond of it in youth, the middle-aged woman no longer cared how others might feel about her writing. She simply began spilling soul onto page and it worked.

This book is an effort to reach in and offer authentic experience, rather than, reach out and offer curated solutions. There are no answers here, only glimpses of paths explored and an invitation to share the journey.
