My name is Yasmin I was born in Guyana and have lived in the United States since I was five years old. I am proud of my Indo-Caribbean heritage. Growing up, I came to understand how the music, culture, and traditions of India traveled across oceans and through generations, taking root in the Caribbean while connecting families and keeping a rich cultural heritage alive. That legacy continues to inspire the stories I tell today.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children of all ages, and I love seeing their excitement as they discover stories that spark their imagination and curiosity.
