Stephanie Ellis

Stephanie Ellis is a Wrexham-based writer of dark fiction and poetry, operating as a hybrid author (both self-published and trad published). Her work includes folk horrors The Five Turns of the Wheel, Reborn, The Woodcutter, and Harrowfield, the post-apocalyptic body horror The Barricade, and the gothic A Fragile Thing, as well as novellas, Bottled, Paused and Rat-She. Her short stories appear in the collections The Reckoning, Devil Kin, and Darklings I and II and a variety of magazines and anthologies, some of which has featured in Ellen Datlow’s Best of Horror recommended reading longlists and in a Bram Stoker Award-nominated anthology. She is a Rhysling and Elgin Award nominated poet and has co-written poetry collections Foundlings (with Bram Stoker Award winner Cindy O’Quinn) and Mason Gorey and Lilith Rising (with Shane Douglas Keene).
