“Peter Pan in Shadowland comes from a place of rich red apples and picnic feasts in my uncle’s orchard. J.M. Barrie’s mythos does what he intended—it takes us there.

I offer this illustrated fairy tale, hoping you can’t resist a return to the forests of that magical island. That you want to wander in awe and soar Neverland’s skies searching out danger. Enter the realm of flute and drum, of mischievous laughter. Relive the days when a storybook was twice as big as our laps, and every page turn was wonder and joy.”
