Lena Fenn
Lena Fenn writes lyrical, atmospheric fantasy about the places that make us — and the ones we can never quite return to. Her debut series, The Waking Lands, opens with A Map of Vanished Things: a world of drowned villages, restless maps and long-buried memory, where the land itself remembers what people would rather forget.
Before she wrote a word of her own, Lena spent ten years in publishing, learning how stories are built from the inside out. She went on to co-found Fenn & Fable, an independent book house for big-hearted, dark-edged fiction, where she serves as Editor-in-Chief — championing bold new voices by day and writing her own after dark.
She is drawn to wonder and loss in equal measure, and to the quiet hope beneath both: you can never go home, but you can carry it.
