JA Kahn
If his books feel packed with mystery and mayhem, it’s because his life is too.
As a husband, dad, writer, gardener, botanist, and serial DIY enthusiast, Kahn has collected unusual experiences including keeping ant farms, building garden ponds that attracted everything except the wildlife he wanted, raising chickens and frogs, climbed trees, and had conker fights – many of which he won.
Kahn’s writing encompasses all those experiences wrapped up as clean spooky thrillers, supernatural mysteries, dark fantasies, and cozy animal adventures.
Nowadays, Kahn lives near the New Forest in Hampshire with my family, and two cats, one of whom disappears for months at a time and returns looking suspiciously pleased with himself. He might write a story about him one day…
P.S. that’s him in the pic writing by candlelight, (or a very close likeness of him).
