Graeme Lowe
Graeme Lowe is a long-distance swimmer based in the island of Jersey. He has taken on some of the world’s most iconic swims, including the English Channel, Manhattan Island and the North Channel.
His experience extends beyond solo swimming, to relays, supporting and volunteering.
His memoir, A Life Well Swum, tells the story of his return to swimming in midlife and how it led him to find his place in the open water community. He was motivated to write the book to help and inspire other swimmers and to take outsiders inside the unique world of open water swimming.
He lives in Jersey with his wife Liz, where the sea is never far away.
